Spartan Marching Band Preps for Capital One Bowl

The Spartan Marching Band prepares to go to Orlando to support the MSU football team in the Capital One Bowl on January 1st. The band has a chance to perform at halftime during the bowl and march in the parade before.

The members of the Spartan Marching Band tell us the about the dedication and hard work they put into preparing for the Bowl. They are reworking one of their halftime shows from the Minnesota game to fit the time requirements for the halftime performance in Florida. About Kelley Tourangeau

Kelley Tourangeau is a senior at Michigan State University studying journalism. She first entered into the University undecided on her major, starting off her freshman year as pre-med and later changing to marketing, before deciding on journalism. She has interned at WLAJ ABC 3 in Lansing working in sports but has now decided on pursuing hard news. Tourangeau has also been involved in the dance program at MSU. Her freshman year she was apart of the Repertory Dance Company and performed in the Fairchild Theatre. She has since participated in Orchesis classes, the Orchesis Concert and the Repertory Dance Company's 2010 season. Outside of journalism and dance, Kelley Tourangeau enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. She is looking forward to graduating in Spring 2011. Tourangeau is excited to start her professional career in journalism.
